Peter Charway is the partnerships manager at the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), a USAID West Africa youth development project. He was previously the managing partner at Wayfields Partners, a management consulting firm in Accra, Ghana.
As a financial analyst with 5 years’ experience in management consulting - project feasibility, transaction advisory etc. - with some of the projects structured as PPP, BOT, public infrastructure or as privately-held projects in sectors including aviation, dry-port, manufacturing and hospitality, Peter has, over the years, acquired skillsets in financial / business analyses & advisory services, strategic investor relations and partnerships. Prior to consulting, Peter worked within the corporate finance & advisory services space for 3 years.
Peter holds an MSc in Finance and Financial Law from SOAS University of London, UK and a BA in Economics and Sociology, University of Ghana. He also holds certificates in financial modelling and valuation from Corporate Finance Institute, Canada; and a Ghana Securities Industry certificate.
Peter is the ambassador for the SOAS University of London Alumni in Ghana.
